For clarification, did we agree that as long as all the + are not identical, both of my In the Zone cards will give me speed boost?

Yes, but only the two bold bonus stats. The core stats will not double up. The top 3 stats will always be the same from common to rare.
What you need are the two bonus stats to be different. For example one is SPD/PUR and the other is MCV/SPD. You will get the core Stats from one card and the bonus stats from both.

So you're saying, in my example, I wouldn't get double speed?
