Players you like... Or players that make your team better?

Curious on everyone's take on this...

Say you are building your MUT team... no particular theme, just whoever you want.

Your QB is a player you like, let's say an 86 OVR. He's decent, he gets the job done, he's not great, not awful, he's serviceable.

A QB gets released, 93 OVR. You have the coins to afford it. Much improved throw power, accuracy, better abilities available, etc etc. You hate this player in real life, plays for a team you hate and you just can't stand him.

Which QB you going with?

I vote MikeyD as my qb... I love whenever you release around me ;)

I will usually go w/ the better player if the difference is fairly vast. If they are close, I usually will stick w/ the guy I like better.

If its someone I REALLY don't like as a player/person IRL (which are very few), I just won't use them regardless of what their attributes are.

That's exactly what I mean, a player you don't like for whatever reason IRL! It's a huge improvement on your team, you just hate the IRL player.
For me... I'm going with the one I like every time. A prime example.. I hate, HATE the Patriots. I got that stupid JC Jackson or whatever it was from the solos... I desperately needed a CB, I was starting a 76 OVR... I quicksold him without a second thought. I have tried multiple times to QS the stupid Tom Brady collectible in my binder, and get mad every time I can't 😂

This is true, you do have Mahomes... but you are a Chiefs fan with a Chiefs theme team, and Mahomes is statistically one of the better ones in the game at the moment..

Mahomes would prob be a perfect fit for how I like to play…. But ain’t no damn Chiefs on my team!!!

Easy. I’ve been in this situation several times with Michael Thomas, and i would easily pass

So my crazy odd one is at Halfback ok, check this out, and its completely BACKWARDS from what your asking!
Before I got any coins to spend on a HB I ran with 83 SS J.K. Dobbins, dude plays really well for me but now I got coins so I go HB shopping!
Im running a 25/50 Chiefs TT ok so Priest Holmes is the obvious choice for my halfback right? Im also a Diehard Eagles fan AND a born and bred Huskers fan so I straight up LOOSE my mind when both Duce Staley (my second favorite Eagles HB EVER, Westbrook of course is #1) AND Ahman Green (Greatest Husker Halfback EVER BABY!!!) drop! What to freaking do right? So I first buy Duce, had him about a day, played decent but not 300k type amazing for me so I sell him. Picked up Holmes for that extra speed, man he just didnt cut it for me, jumps to catch the ball every time UGHHHH nope he gotta go so I sold him. Now Im debating on buying Green but TBH, I am doing GREAT with Dobbins! Hes got me legend solo battles every week, can run right down the middle NO problem and I'm like screw it, Dobbins stays HA HA!!! On a freaking 87 OVR squad my SB superstar is a freaking dirt cheap 83 halfback and I have no problems with that!!!!
Someday down the road of course I hope to add Duce and Ahman to the roster cause them my boys, but for now Im good with J.K., something I thought I would NEVER say!

Players I like or apathetic to. For example, Ndamukong Suh doesn't make my squad ever. He seems like a dirty player by stomping on people and kicking people in the groin and stuff. I don't like that shit, so forget him.
