Playing players out of position

when you play a player that gets secondary position Chem on  Do their stats stay the same even tho their overall changes and has anyone noticed if they play any different   I want to play rod woodson at CB since I have full Fs that are BND

The awareness drops OOP that’s why the overall changes so much. Other stats stay the same.

Many top tier players will play guys OOP so it doesnt make any difference they play the same.

I'm honestly not sure how playing guys OOP affects your team. Only thing I've noticed is the overall is lower on certain guys, but I play two guys OOP on my team (CB Moss play SS and Merlin Olsen plays RE) and they both play just fine despite being lower Overalls at those positions.

The stats are the same, the overall number just doesn't look as pretty. There are some players that are a higher overall out of position, like Jim Taylor at HB and Pitts at WR.
