Affected players who received the messaging and purchased packs where he would be available during the time frame will receive the following. 1x Campus Heroes II Calvin Ridley BND This makegood has begun to distribute and will continue to be distributed in waves.

Not exactly. It was given as a make right for a screw up in the packs. So anyone who bought packs during a certain time, were supposed to have a chance at pulling a LTD Ridley...but EA messed up and didn;t have him in packs. So theoretically anyone who got him spent coins or points on packs under false pretenses.
So technically not fee. The cost of rolling for him has to be factored in

They gave it to people who only opened the 1 coin pack during those dates too. Considering you get something guaranteed worth more than 1 coin out of that pack and then get Ridley too he actually is LESS than free.
