I know this Madden game has already been done, but please EA put power ups as something for next year. It’s kinda sad when we just sell a player that we spent months with only to pick up a new version a few weeks after we sell them. If they are looking at it from a monetary side it makes sense because you open up packs to get those cards to upgrade the player you really like, and makes you increase the price that much more on hard to let go of players.
I like this system much better. I hated sinking millions into training just to be able to put the best abilities on the cards.
I prefer playing with power ups because i love getting cards to those middle training tiers while u wait for an upgrade to come or waiting for the upgraded tier card to go down in price

I would often keep players as Backups that I knew would be getting a great card in a couple weeks just because they won me a few games.
I like power ups mainly because of power up passes, that way a normally unaffordable card could be used just by leveling up and buying training. Plus they added another investing option to the game

I don’t think they’ll change it just because they make more money this way
A happy medium wouldn't be the worst thing.
Those who want to power up existing players to stay 'loyal' to them for the +1 could do so, whilst those who don't want power ups can readily get the latest card of any given player with all applicable team chems and abilities already equipped.
I just hope that they do away with this horrible and pointless current power up process for Ultimate Legends this year, and for every program going forward.
