Yes, I was shocked when I pulled him. I was going to sell him but he was only going for slightly over rental price, so I figured I would keep him.

This is what I did
I also did the first solo string (the ultimate preseason one?) and got to level 10 w/ the CUT head start. After selling everything (EVERYTHING), I have 440k and that is AFTER purchasing LTD Rasul Douglas for 390k. Pretty good head start if you ask me.
Make sure not just to randomly quicksell those plats. Everyone I sold, I got OVER the plat quicksell value. There were some golds (not even the good ones like Worthy/Anderson) that were almost double than what the 6-9k quicksell value was. I didn't really even pull anything crazy. Only one 83 in the bunch.
The LTD pack is tempting, but the plat step up packs seem to have the best floor.

Agree - this is what I did yesterday - then proceeded to buy all my NE players and after playing some challenges, solo seasons and a few solo battles and selling of what rewards that would sell, I've got about 180K in coins and all the cards I need for now.
