Present Plan

So I've got 72000 training (and almost 80k coins to buy more training if necessary), so I wanted to get some opinions on which present pack to open.

Large Present Pack: I could open 8 of these with the 72000 training. Considering most people think that large packs are going to contain 90+ players, this seems like the safest investment. I spent 430k on a TJ Watt for the training, and with the current value of 90s I would make around 400k+ if I only pulled the bare minimum. Of course, I will likely have to account for a market crash, so I may make less than that, but it is also unlikely that I will pull the bare minimum on every pack. The only caveat to this is that I don't currently know if the Lavish, Lively, Lovely, and other variants of the Large Present will be available from this pack or if it will just be the basic Large Present.

Random Pack of Presents: I could open about 18 of these. The only problems is that I could get mostly small presents, which many people think are going to be 82+. Therefore I will get more chances to hit big, but will risk more in the process. Because of this, I'm leaning more toward the Large Present Pack, but whether or not it contains the special variations is a point to consider.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to spend all your mut bank on presents. You should just get a couple if you like them, and buy the cards Christmas Day for the cheap cheap.

True. And I guess I still will have some presents from the field pass.

Dang I get cold feet on investments too often. I'm selling TJ now.

I'll try to keep sniping cards to get back to where I was before.

I guess I'll just try to get some of the Random Present Packs if I have enough training from binder trash.

Like every year.  Do NOT discard any presents chasing. The smalls  are always the best value

Yeah, id base it off if the large present roll has the bigger ones in it or not, but yeah, just gamble away what u can afford, dont go overboard……like for me, i have like 40k in training and if i sell off my binder trash id probably get another 20k or so, thats all id invest in rolls if i do decide to go for any of em

I usually don't care much abt the market and still the case this year I have 14 presents, with 200k coins and 33k training. I think im gonna buy 5 randoms and if I pull 1 large or 2 mediums im gonna keep going with randoms if I don't I will spend my coins and buy larges. But training is up rn so im waiting a bit.

This sounds like the better plan to me. Buy a few of the randoms if you have a little training just for fun. Otherwise save your coins and work on building your team when the market crashes.

I'm not spending any training on presents. I'll just buy the cards Xmas morning for cheap as everyone is selling them if there's any cards I even want. Small presents are always the move and everyone dumps them chasing larges that burn them in the end, hard.

That little amount of training you might as well roll the randoms and just keep them all. Chasing larges+ is ALWAYS never worth it and the community never learns lol.

I can almost guarantee that the large presents won’t be 90+… a 90+ QSs for 10k training but only costs 9k to buy. It is literally guaranteed profit for ever single present. My guess is they will do an 88+ or 89+.. honestly with so little coins and training I would just roll it into TVP and try and get coins to improve your team. No worth the risk of a huge loss with presents.

This user makes very good points. I agree with him or her.

I think there is a lot of uncertainty this year on presents, primarily because the presents cannot be QS, this will have a lot of implications, including:

- there will be a lot more small and medium presents, in fact a huge amount of those, because you also get so many for free (especially small ones) through the field pass and calendar sets and also in previous years people used to QS sell those to roll for better presents

- on the same logic there should be a lot less large or let‘s rare presents

- how demand for training and therefore training price will move we also do not know but I would expect somewhat lower amount because not being able to QS means the rolls anyone can do are 

- mut coins will be removed from the market temporarily into presents, so maybe there will be less demand/funds form cards as people have their budgets tied up in presents - question whether people will do more or less into training

- finally large present is imo unlikely to be 90+ looking at the cost as someone said before, unless they baked in the training drop that will occur on xmas day

we need a MUT economist to think this through fully

for sure holding coin to buy the crash is the safest method, although maybe less fun and we all like ourselves some presents.

one of the riskiest will be to have coins in team
