Sounds like you just got bad luck depending on which/how many you had. I only really saved player presents, and the other larger ones. Even with the few small ones I got a 93. In total I got 3 Ltd, 3 93s and some 92s. It was the most I've ever gotten in any madden in that short of a period in time.

Personally, I played the Draft event non-stop to accumulate snow.  When snow cost around 70 coins per snow, each single game win was the equivalent to 35k-70k.  If you went flawless, that was the equivalent to 320k in snow.  I opened every single stocking every refresh and had enough snow to cover all of this with only spending 1 million-ish on ZC players to QS.

I got a few player presents and 1 LTD. I only chased last week of ZC. 
 

i only played the games I could when I had the time honestly. sinxe the menu stuff is so stale and boring this year

Yeah, it was pretty much an either/or.  

I decided to go the ZC route so I didn't have to worry about upgrading my team until after X-Mas and I love this promo.  This was the most involved I've gotten with the promo and it didn't disappoint.   I had 50+ presents to open, 10 being named XL gifts and of those 7 ended up being LTD.  I started my Ranked excursion yesterday....don't think I'm gonna have time to make the top 100.
