Not often I utter that line but this is the first year where it doesn’t feel like MUT is dying with a whimper. Usually it’s throw your 4 million coins at rookie premiere and retire until next year. This year there’s a reason to grind as they’ve put meaningful rewards for madden 24 in the season field pass. Hope they build on this for future years. Early MUT24 theme teams will have a leg up with these tokens.

Ehhh…. EA on stream told us the 99’s will have 2 zero AP’s for this Promo and don’t.
Rewards for grinding Season 5 have 4 market items… All for CASH MONEY, no coins
a pack today 98+, get this, cost 500,000K training and watched several people pull 2 98’s and lose 500k coins in 10 seconds
TVP’s stilk at 55k with grey n green strats and jerseys and low platinum cards.
Fan Deapprection gave us 2 GT’s with 1 zero AP bucket’s in June
I could go on about the trade block, lowering the AP without a single tweet that woulda taken 20 seconds to do.
A week before tell us they are gonna lie that the TVP won’t stay at 29k and expired time will refresh at 55k that woulda saved thousands of people investing billions into training to pull the 1st batch of GT’s knowing the market would crash

- Henry - Bad Release
- Young/Cox - Not as good as aka rushers
- Bo - not has good as aka backs and no route abilities
- K & P - aka guys are better imo, boost your squad

Most of us on this forum are at a point where we already have our rosters locked up anyways. Just because the content isn’t usable to YOU, doesn’t mean that applies to every single person still playing MUT23. EA is far from perfect & i could write an entire essay about how they’re scum. As a guy who switched from diamond dynasty they’re doing a much better job supporting the last phase of the game vs how SDS did DD last year.

- A free top running QB is fine. Besides Sling 1 theyre pretty much all similar enough with GS/PLE. (If you want a stand QB spend the 300k for Elway or Rodgers.
Its better to use AKA on DB than line at this point. More than enough cards to take up space there.
Free 99 RB is fine. Short in is all you need. If you want a catch RB use Byers or that C. Samuel that just came out.
At this point you dont need boosts. Willis is best K if you want to fake it or just use Brees/Montana. Or these 2 freebies if you dont want to spend any coins. Even the MB P that just came out doubles as a QB card that does a great Rental under 40k

I won’t use a single card from Season 5. This means my team in May was end game with one whole season to go. In my mind, they saturated the market with too many 99s and too many 32 team chem cards.

I think some people are missing the point. Congrats to all of you that finished your teams in may. This week I was just able to pick up Connor Mcgovern and Thad Moss so my team isn’t complete yet.
I guess I should have posted a disclaimer. I could write a 50 page essay on all of EAs shortcomings and missteps this year alone.
But when they actually do something good I think it’s worth pointing out (So hopefully they do it again). This year there is an actual bridge between games with a few items in the field pass that will actively make your madden 24 MUT team better. And the way you get those items is by simply playing the game. That’s a W and those that grind the field pass in June/July will have a distinct advantage at launch above and beyond just having RPs which I think it cool.

With rookie premiere running for 4 weeks with another promo running side by side with it im still sticking with the fact that this year ended really solid.
