They added new captains under the renegades but here's the problem.
They all cost 3 AP minimum to use.

You can but then he'll be running without any abilities and linebackers have a disadvantage that they don't animate like a safety unless they have Lurker.

Ya no other cards come close, it's a good deal. Some people will spend that on one ability.
Have only used walker in a couple house rules games when I was half asleep and half baked, hopefully he works out for me in H2H

i’m just using them for the boost, abilities are meh…
with the game not moving towards 2x 0 ap cards, no point to hold on to free slots. Every card will be the same moving forward for the most part. GTs aren’t special since they can’t get 2x 0 ap slots
