PSA: EA just removed the lower OVR sets for Ultimate Kickoff, Headliners, and Campus Heroes... so that means...

... the only way to get the lower to mid-elites is from the auction house.  It's likely these cards will be needed for Team Diamond sets... so you may want to snipe them while the prices are reasonable.  I think I've got all of them in my binder but it was always cheaper to build them from the lower sets unless lucky snipes were available.

For example there are 33 x 85 OVR Ultimate Kickoff cards (one for each team but for some reasons Saints have two).  You could build them from 3 x 83 OVR Ultimate Kickoff cards which were selling for 15 - 20k ish.  Now you have to buy the 85s off the AH... currently running about 50-60k each... but if they are needed for TD sets they'll be going for 90-120k like last year.

Note:  the above are old gen xbox prices... which are probably different from ps4 or current gen auction houses... but the concept remains the same.

i'd say its the opposite and they won't be needed for team diamond sets.  looking more and more like we will have team diamonds based on 5 of the same ovr

That would be a huge change from every other year.  I don't think you're right... but if you are then I have an assload of training in my binder lol.

Thanks for the psa. This is definitely handy for those looking to invest in team diamonds.

Removing sets is a female dog made move that they started last year. Again, it kills people trying to work the auction house,  makes everything more expensive, and brings binder value of every single old card to minimum training value. 
 

There‘a no excuse to be pulling sets (and for that matter solos) this early in the year.

This is where my mindset is…

all of these cards are dirt cheap

The 85's are 40k ish on current gen... 50k ish on XB1... and 55k ish on PS4.  Between Team Builders and Ultimate Kickoff... that's 65 cards for a total of 2.6 to 3.6 million coins.  They won't be "dirt cheap" if they're need in the TD sets - they will be selling for triple what they are now.  And not being able to make them via sets will keep the prices high for as long as the TD cards are in demand.

i'm on ps5 and i pulled from the level 5 offer pack 85 darius slay as my CB3 behind 87 ramsey and 85 watson a W for my secondary.
