Purple team strategy items

I put my purple Eagles team chemistry  token in the lineup and replacng  the blue x3 and my amount of players went down for my TT. Anyone know what the purple strat cards are for? What am I missing?

Probably because the blue rare strat is x3 and the purple isn't

The purple is 2x while the blue is 3x

Shouldn’t purple be 4x tho? Or is that legendary?

I was thinking it was x4, but its not. I got it at the very end of the season pass. It doesn't seem to do very much. When I first pulled it I couldn't even add it to my team chemistry. Now I'm completely lost on what it does.
