Random question but is there something coded into quarterbacks that makes their propensity to fumbling higher than WR/RB/TE? I'm asking because I really never fumble with players at non-QB positions (avalanche aside). That said, many QBs having carrying in the high 80s to 90s (hitting the thresholds), fumble often when scrambling.
That has been in every madden as far as I can remember, players fumble rate is based on their position group, Carrying doesn’t matter
Yes they coded qbs to be more prone to fumbles no matter what carrying stats they have. Been this way for a few years after the days of OP escape artist qbs.

sooooo basically because EA is a lazy company and refuse to recode this game (which is much needed) to deter ppl from taking off with their qbs they code the game to make it too easy for them to fumble.

Not really. If you look at any given year in the NFL the top 25 Offensive players who lead the league in fumbles are all QB's.

I’d venture to guess a great majority of those are in the pocket fumbles, usually mid throw. I‘d also guess that running the ball qbs have more fumbles than rbs per tackle but nowhere near as dramatic of a difference as madden codes in.
In any case, Madden is an arcade game. There are plenty of easy opportunities to implement realism that Madden doesn’t bother with. Madden still uses PS2 era crap like thresholds, animations, and hardcoded modifiers like abilities. It’s crazy because from a programming perspective football is actually pretty straightforward to accurately code. Not easy, but straightforward

This, in my opinion, is somewhat true, but not completely true. A 75 Carry QB seems to fumble far more than a 75 Carry RB or WR. But my previous (2) QBs have been 99 Herbert (86 carry), and 99 Geno (65 carry), and Geno fumbled all the time. Herbert doesnt, so the carry does seem to matter within the position group.

I guess I didnt word it correctly, carrying matters within position group but it is not relative overall. As in 99 Carry QB is not the same as say a 99 Carry WR. Statistically ea got it right as QBs fumble more than any other position.

No worries.. For sure.. I wish it wasn't that way... I wish a 90 Carry Player was same regardless of position group.. In my simple brain, 90 Carry should mean 90 Carry... regardless of position.... 😅🤣😅
