I just read a comment that said One Step Ahead is built in to Universal Coverage. Is this true?

Now, universal coverage in my opinion, is it's easily the best defensive X factor. It is if you can activate it, it is outside shade. Inside shade, one step ahead. Short route KO, medium route KO, deep route KO, flat Zone KO, mid zone KO and deep out zone KO.
I was just about to make a post like this myself I’m gunna test it out right now give me 30 minutes gunna play a couple house rules
gunna switch Harris & Talib to Universal X Factors
Revis & Wilson i’m gunna remove one step ahead & leave Universal only

It is indeed confirmed brother I noticed a slight increase in coverage once I replaced one step ahead with universal coverage & it helps when I need to audible to zone coverage too
I mainly run man coverage
I appreciate the feedback. I run UC and One Step ahead on Revis too.
Universal Coverage is quite literally every Man and zone KO in the game. Reinforcement is the same plus the ability to defeat run blocks, but without the reaction time for KOS that you get with universal.

personally i never understood why they would give it as an ability option even though its built in for 1ap. i still think its NOT the same. im pretty sure osa gives a tracking boost that UC doesnt give.

It’s the same. I tested and without osa and just universal my Larry wilson was lighting up on every receiver cut. So no need for osa If you have a passive UC ability activated
