Is there any negative affect of moving players out of position? ... more specifically offensive lineman. For example Zach Martin is a 93 overall RG .. when I move him to RT his overall drops to a 89 but his attributes, and abilities all stay the same. Am I missing something or is this the smart move if you don’t care about team overall ?

Chemistries and abilities will not be applied if you play them out of position, unless of course you activate their secondary position which aligns with the OOP spot you place them in.
but in general yes they play the same. You just can’t get chems/abilities if you’re not playing them in the spots they’re meant to be in.

I knew about chems but didn’t realize abilities are affected too. That sucks.
