Yeah, if I see the estimated low roll value is above 200k for $20. I'll get it. Do not try the fifty/fifty packs. The return on those are pretty bad. And even if you do get the Ltd. So did an abusrd amount of other people did as well. So the card usually doesn't hold value.

Bro - you are seriously the man! I was nervous but I went for it and got the TB bundle…got an 86 (net 117k); chose David Andrews - one of the few still going for 600k; then on my 50/50 - got DK!!!! I can’t stand him so sold him right away for 2.1 million - ready for my Herman Moore this Saturday:) super stoked - finally some good pack luck which I would not have even done if not for your advice - thanks man!!!
OP...
I would agree with most of the above in saying that a "good" purchase yields over 100k per $10 spent.
But I also decide to break out my wallet based on my current coin stack along with what is guaranteed value from the store offers versus what you have a chance of getting. I don't have great pack luck so I will usually assume I'm getting mostly minimum pulls.
That's why I pretty much only buy packs the first day of launch of each new game and I will drop about $500 on the platinum packs. That usually gets me a top end team and a nice coins stack to sustain me for the year.
It was never about the money

A lot of them are also getting their points paid for by sponsors, so they don't care as much as most people would.
