I guess. I mean, I tried it out and honestly, stretch play and outside runs are still going to get shut down if you play a good player. I think OP will find that as he starts to play more savvy Madden players, it won't be so easy to use this strategy.  A lot of player just go by YouTube and E book stuff and run dollar and dime loop blitzes but the really good players know how to work around that

I'm not an expert on OL play  better footwork seems pretty important when most people are blitzing CBs or safeties. I started running more since I got puller elite and nasty streak combos on two players for 1 AP each.  My other 10 AP are all for passing. Usually I just run to keep people from pass committing every down. My issue is with people who only play dollar or dime and get mad when you run the ball.

So you have abilities on just 2 O linemen? What happens when you have to pass? Without Edge protector or secure protector in H2h you're gonna get insta sheds from pass rushers with edge threat

I hear your question about Dime/dollar and salty messages but most of the post was about the success you were having and how you're going to play this way the rest of the year but seems to me this only benefits the tackle position when you play a specific type of defense and even then I am honestly not sure if it makes much of a difference or you just faced defenses that played into your scheme.....That's why I asked. 

Do people get salty when you run the ball all the time? Some do, sure......when you play someone who cannot or will not adapt and all they do is run loop blitzes with speedy DBs then yeah you may get some messages like that. I wouldn't personally run guards at tackles with jensen at C to combat that, but that's just me and how I play. I find I can still carve them up with the pass or even run the ball without those boosts. My WRs and TEs get as many pancakes as my Linemen do.

I think i've got the run game figure out too, my most recent game, zoom in. 33 carries for 509 yards with CJ2K who is the best running back in the game. I've tried others but he's the best by far with human joystick.

I play to win. I run the rock a lot. Lots of players with weaker players are able to completely shut me down. I'm not a great passer. 

One day, I want to get better through the air. Absolutely hate giving the ball up for any reason. Possession is everything!

80% on the ground. I do not run the clock until the end of the game if its close. I just can't pass up a win. This is exactly why they do this in the NFL.

Are you using Larry Allen as one of the guards? I was looking at him and with the tornado boost and 1 AP secure protector he might be the best RT available.

Yes  he my RT put him there because of legend chemistry. He has been surprisingly dominant.

You are correct difference was not the record. just how fast I got through the games and the messages I got after.

Oh you are correct this has nothing to do with good Madden players who adjust their defense according to what you're doing on offense. It's about people who stay in dollar or dime even when they're giving up six or more yards a carry.

My main point was how fast these games were due to me running more and the messages that followed.

Just flew through my weekend League with a 10 and 3 record. Mostly running the ball when I see cover 4 or cover 2. Mr Red tornado will be my center for a while and then back up center for my end game. Don't think I'll be using any tackles or centers for the rest of the year. The Boost he gives to guards is just phenomenal. I've always been a good passer so forcing people to stop the  run is not my  normal plan. Got a few hateful messages for running the ball until they stop it. Is that normal in Mutt?

Who are your guards and what abilities do you have on them? Thanks in advance. I have Red Tornado, but I’ve been running a traditional O-line. If the all guards o line is better I’ll make the switch
