i believe 98-99 release is by far the best thing that consistently beats presses in routes way too quickly i think having 99 accel with at least 95 in all short, medium and deep route running in h2h just kills DB's that to go along with route tech?! *sheeesssshhh* i see the reason why theilen was popular for a minute but i've been using carmichael and plaxico and they gets crazy seperation in the games i've played

95 is the last route running threshold and you need to get there to get the super win animations on cuts.
All my receivers are stock 98-99 release ratings so I don't worry about it too much anymore, but before short out I did to beat press. Now it costs 1ap to cook man per receiver which isn't bad at all.

Where is it 95? Ive only seen 90
Acceleration > speed on d lineman tbh
they aren’t running very far to get to the qb they just need a quick burst

Thresholds are different this year in that they go in 5‘s up to 95. Most top players will tell you it’s 95 for route running, along with a few other ratings most people don’t pay attention too that factor into getting the best and most consistent route running. Most cards coming out now are all above 95 anyway so it doesn’t really matter, but when we were at 95 ovrs it was much more important to use route tree to boost your route running to be able to consistently beat man coverage
Ceedee is a good example because he’s missing a key rating that affects his route running, hence he was Inconsistent running routes for me.

Proofs? Ive never heard a single thing about that this year

I can’t say what the rating is on Ceedee but it’s one of The few he has that doesn’t hit 90.
95 is the super win cut threshold this year, ask most pros or high level players and they will say the same.
as for proof, I’ve tested it with different guys and it’s definitely a thing, I’d recommend testing for yourself and seeing. like I said it’s not super important at this point where the majority of receivers are 95+ route running.

This is the only thresholds numbers Ive ever seen https://www.mut.gg/forums/forum/mut-discussion-10/topic/madden-22-thresholds-explained-827/
They may have slightly better cuts but its def not like 89-90 difference would be.

I believe that’s last years game if I’m not mistaken.
Ill find some unpaywalled sources and post them here.

Thanks!
Thats how theyve been for a few maddens now. Ive never seen anyone talk about that but obv its a bigger deal if it goes by 5 instead of 10. Obv now its late in the year but still would be nice to know.
