yesterday I just had a little bit of time and I figured I’d get on and play a game and immediately I was getting cheated with somebody doing the stem route so I push the home button to try to report him and search for his name and so forth , Next thing I know I got disconnected.
You can’t even go and report somebody for cheating in madden, not to mention if they’re on PlayStation you definitely can not as far as I know. Just thought I’d put that out there
how you gonna report somebody for cheating when EA put that in the game and hasnt got ridden of it yet lol

There is literally no way to report cheating in madden. There is no option to in madden. And if you try to do it on playstation sony tells you to take it up with madden. Lol pathetic.
Edit: not thag it matters bc im sure nothing ever would be done about even the most open and shut cases of proven cheating anyway but i do find it funny that they have it set up so that its impossible to even inconvenience their precious time with a report in the first place.
This is a bug that has been in the game the past few years on Xbox. It has nothing to do w/ reporting anyone
If you open the dashboard on Xbox and use messages, check recent players, etc, there is a HIGH chance you are going to be disco'd while in the game.
Unfortunately, have to wait until the game is done before trying to spend any amount of time in the dashboard. It's not a bug I expect EA to fix.

its a purposeful thing. You used to be able to stall a game forever by doing that

I experienced this a TON at the end of M24 cycle, was bored and no content left, so I started playing Playstation Tournaments to earn myself some $5 gift cards. Typically took about an ~hour to run through the full tournament, wasn't terrible, although it was absolutely filled with glitchers.
Basically dudes either taking infinite penalties or simply pausing / stalling the game so it will never complete -- eventually (after 45+ minutes of waiting), the game would time out and award my opponent the win, despite me being ahead.
The only thing you can report for is if someone is using foul language. I got strikes (more than one) on my account for calling people "Pussies." As community members have already pointed out, ultimately, nobody cares. Sony points the finger at EA, but there's zero chance any of them will invest any amount of time attempting to communicate, let alone patching out these obvious bugs. Ahh well.
Because of all of this, it's getting more and more difficult for me to care about this madness, despite my undying passion for the great game of football.
I find it quicker to forget them then report them...but for those that want to report...it should be an option.

I think maybe the individual who commented to you doesn’t take into consideration that this is a paid Service and People are paying to play therefore cheating would affect the market and unfair to the ones spending money on the game and also to the people that are putting in the time. I think it’s unfair and I think that the report option should be fixed and not cause people to lose connection because at the end of the day, you are trying to buy these cards to enjoy the game but at the same time to also help win these games

I may be in the minority here, and i am not even playing Madden 25 because i am fed up with the issues year to year, so i really have no skin in the game in regards to your complaint about an opponent spamming certain glitched plays. That being said, i do not think it is actually "Cheating". Its just someone abusing the crappy code that Madden Dev guys refuse to fix.... No difference than people doing that stupid on-side kick glitch in Madden 24, which had me hot as you could get sometimes because it was straight BS!!! But it would be stretch for me to say they were "Cheating", they were just abusing the system. Just chalk it up as BS and move on...... Just my two cents.... 😁

The way I see it is that if it’s not intentionally supposed to be part of the game and requires a patch at some point then by all means it is definitely considered cheating. To put it in more perspective , would this be allowed in a tournament ? Absolutely not and I think that right there answers everything
