Returning after a few year hiatus, what should I be doing?

Returning after 3 year break. Currently completing solo challenges to make a decent team. If so, what ones are best? Thanks for any help!

Don't play. Game is trash.

Agree with the previous poster.  Get out before you invest too much time or money and are sucked into the bottomless pit that is Madden this year…..

Watson is decent and a Boom Reward

Captains Troy Vincent is so-so. Saturday is nothing special.

S1 Ward is a beast. He is worth the upgrade tickets.

Christian McCaffrey is good and worth the upgrade tickets.

A fully upgraded Ray Lewis was non-existent until yesterday. He got me 2 interceptions yesterday, but before that he did nothing but get run over at the goal line.

If you play on Rookie Level you will think more of your defenders. When you play on Veteran Level or higher the computer knows the weak spots in your defense and will attack the weak spots. No matter if you are in Man or Zone coverage. In man they run crossing routes or hit a receiver over the middle. In zone they hit areas just outside of your coverage area/shading. It is really obvious and somewhat annoying. Get good at knowing your defense weak spots and trying to cover them without weaking other spots.
