Yeah, approximately 10 mil seems about right to do all of RP. I will be pleasantly surprised if it's significantly less than that.
Also some advice for anyone who's never done RP before. Typically, the sets become more expensive to complete as time goes on. Just something to consider when you plan your approach

Just a reminder for the goldfish, RP has been absolutely awful the last 3 years. This year RPs didn’t even come into the game until almost 3 weeks after release. Most people had no use for most of the RPs by the time we got them. Waste your coins if you like. Not worth waiting/investing in imo.

I disagree. I like RP because I sell them to whales right away and get my coin stack right at the beginning of the year and I can feed it and watch it grow.

Have to disagree a bit because the packs for rookie premire last year were so much fun and you made coins or borke even everyother pack and It probably tookabout 7-9M coins for me to finish all of them

I’d much rather sell 7-9M coins but I know not everyone has connections to buy them. But if that isn’t an option for some, I guess there isn’t much else to do with them. I just don’t think people should be sacrificing a good time now, for crappy RPs next game.
