route technician vs. slot-o-matic?

which ability is better?  i primarily just run route technician on my WRs but I'm thinking about putting slot-o-matic on my slot WR

So I run a Route Technician on my Jerry Rice and a Slot - O - Matic on my Cliff Branch : IMO I think it is better than route technician on Cliff, but he is my SLWR and I don't remove him from that spot.

Route Tech- Works at any WR position, only affects route running

SoM- Only works in the slot, affects route running AND catching within 10 yrds of LOS. It’s basically route tech + short in elite + short out elite. 

Id only use it on a player that never leaves the slot.
