Paris Johnson is listed as a RT in my binder instead of LT. Anyone else mislabeled?

Apparently, they switched him to RT, giving us three RTs and 0 LTs with the RPs.
All part of EA’s plan to gut RP value to drive players back to packs. They also have most of them terrible ratings for 84s.
They realized they can’t actually give everyone a team that is usable for a month and still sell bundles.

He's not mislabeled.
He's playing RT IRL and EA switched his position accordingly.

Byron Young was listed at ROLB in 23 and LOLB in 24. Luckily his OVR is still 84 if you have him on the right side (or 81 at MLB).
Maybe they saw the position change and modified, or for some other reason. Either way make dual option then.
There are at to least three other cards out during the trial that are not matching current positions so I lean towards doubting that was the reasoning.
Bears - Whitehair is the starting center but plays left guard so far.
Jenkins is starting right guard but has two cards at RT.
Broncos - Kyle Fuller is still playing center? Same issue last year on the Ravens… anyway
Not worth the stress.

In MUT 23 he was a LT....That's what we put the sets together for and that's what everybody expected. All they had to do was dumb down his stats and not screw with the position. If they'd spent more time on making sure everyone got what they were supposed to instead of shit like this maybe people wouldn't be missing players. Just a thought.

Yeah even IF his position changed we put the set together for a LT & it wouldn't have hurt to give him that regardless.

Right.
EA had its choice of which rookies to pick. We questioned several of them at the time, but at least we had position certainty on what we were building for our Madden 24 roster.
Changes like that are indefensible. There was already a paucity of offensive line options. Now, they've ensured we'll either need to get a non-RP or play someone out of position at LT.
I'm not as freaked about some of these mistakes as others here, but that's one where they're fixing something that wasn't broken...and with a terrible fix.
We don't have this issue if the RPs included fewer TEs, QBs, WRs, and CBs. Nobody needed Will Levis or a TE3 as much as a LT.

Yeah I mean I'm not freaking out about it. I'm just saying I think that if they were going to do that they should have made him do eligible at both tackle spots. Because it feels like a bait and switch. I swear sometimes it's like they try to piss people off with some of the decisions they make.
