Running FG block in mut champs

If your opponent does it, you should do it too. Even if it's just for a half and then beat them in the second half. None of us want to play 25 games of mut champs. For some of us the rewards literally stop after stat objectives and 7 wins. As a community just help each other finish the dumb objectives quickly so we can play seasons. being forced to play mut champs is terrible, it's not weekend league. Nobody cares about your 24-1 mut champs record.

If you can find a good reason not to help each other out I'd love to hear it.

3. You need well rounded stats and defensive stats to max out the pass, not just passing and touch downs

i likes to play the game regularly too. but I want to play seasons because you get more than 1k coins per win. You get the same mediocre packs for having a good season and making playoffs and most of the time a trophy pack is more valuable than a midfield pack you get from the comp pass. 

okay, it is, but if you’re really grinding the comp pass for all the possible rewards which means you have to play solo battles. Are you telling me you don’t just put it on rookie and accumulate stats as quickly as possible so you don’t have to play Vs the cpu? Or are you playing 10+ games to get your stats even though you could’ve done them In 5? 
 

I didn’t have a single defensive stat in my comp pass. I had punt and kick return yards, twice, wins, 10 extra points, 10 2 pt conversions. yards on first down, points in first quarter, passing yards, total yards, rushing TDs.

 i didn’t have anything for tackles, sacks, INTs, or fumbles. 
 

i know I’m gonna take some hate for this post, but I know most people would agree that mut champs was a terrible idea and that the real comp scene was weekend league and no matter how much they force us to play champs for rewards, it will never be weekend league and they are just diluting the playing field with sub par players by doing it this way. So just farm stats and be done with it so we can get on with the game modes we actually enjoy.

You're right about MUT Champs sucking. Weekend League was much better since it was actual competition and you were ranked every week and at the end of the month, it gave you something to play for. Better rewards too, some of those packs were great and you got coins too.

People can't get mad if their opponent says "hey, let's each score 150 points and finish our comp pass" because that's what EA did to this game. They removed the competitive aspect and made it a more stat-grinding game. It was hard for me to care about MUT Champs this week since i don't need to win for stats to count. I have almost 800 comp points and it's only week 1. I should have Fields next week. It's a joke now but this is how EA made it. They are removing the competitive aspect of the game and allowing 10 year olds to jump into the game and win. Sad to see

I am running punt block even if my opponent doesn’t they can score all they want and I am also not punting even if it’s 4th and 99. All I care about are my stats and don’t be a jerk and send a hate message afterwards or you can enjoy however much time off PlayStation gives you.

I think what I am going to start doing is on 4th down turn around and run the ball down to my 1yard line and let guys who want to play this seriously get the 1 play td but I quickly get the ball back.

I just wish I could matchup with someone that would run fg block with me lol like is that not a good enough indicator of “hey let’s run up stats and get the comp pass done.”

Lol that’s a new idea. You might struggle with getting your total yardage stats though. the first couple games I did it and my opponent didn’t do it back I just quit, but after 8-9 games nobody was doing it, so I stopped quitting games where I was at least moving the ball effectively.

See I asked a guy on Xbox if he wanted to farm stats for the game. He didn’t respond, I scored, decided to play defense I got a pick and scored again. I’m up 16-0, and I asked him hey, if you farm stats with me I’ll let you win. He’s down 16-0 he’s obviously not very good. Throws another pick and quits. Like okay, why not just take the free stats and win that I offered!?! He’s obviously going to struggle to get them. 
 

i only win 2/3 of my games, I’m not some mut gameplay god. I know I’m not that good, so I know people who are worse than me are definitely struggling when people come out in these weird metas. If I was terrible and I knew it and wanted to play anyways and someone offered me easy stats id he all over it.

I see your point but theres any number of possible reasons (including the one you seem to be assuming, he genuinely had no interest and/or common sense) 

Maybe he doesnt want to risk a ban by EA however low of a chance it may be, how did you communicate this to him? If you sent a text he may have missed the brief notification and not seen the message til later. If you used voice he may have that turned off (not that you can hear them anyway through the stupid controller speaker unkess the room is dead silent, terrible design sony making it mandatory for that unless you use headphones) 

Either way, even all that aside I believe there is also a way to outright disable receiving communication of ANY kind, unless its already a friend. In other words theres at least a 50/50 chance he never even received your offer.  🤷‍♂️

He told me to go outside, and called me a Virgin lol so he definitely had the ability to communicate

I agree if I see someone come out in fg block I know they're willing to grind stats and for the most part I'd be willing to do so.

I know even without grinding you can finish most of the stats in 10 games or so. I know because none of my opponents wanted to grind so I just played normal games and I finished all of my stat objectives. Granted, I was lucky enough that my opponent stuck around until the 4th quarter for most of my games. 

The one situation I might be unwilling to grind is the current one I'm in. The only objective I have left is the win 15 champs games one. Unless my opponent guarantees me the win, grinding stats does nothing for me.

Also is coming out in goal line every play on offense a way to signal you want to grind stats? One of my opponents did this and I thought it was weird. But that opponent also played normal defense so I'm not sure what to think.

Tell him you're trying to go outside, that's why you're trying to grind stats lmao
