Appears Safe to open presents (*updated *)

*UPDATE*: logged into MUT for the first time since Saturday this afternoon. All presents opened had the correct content and no presents appeared to be missing. Odds weren’t great, but didn’t look like those of us offline yesterday got any (extra) weirdness from waiting.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I have now read through as many of the threads as I can from yesterday and am sorry for everyone who had to deal with the glitches “live” (at least the negative ones)… However, for those of us who’ve yet to return home from the holiday and haven’t even logged on to madden in the past two days, is there any recommendation on whether it’s safe yet to open the presents?

I’m not looking to push for extra value at this point—just want to open what I actually pulled the past couple weeks and can’t tell if EA messed things up so bad as to make even that impossible.

Hopefully everyone traveling through the arctic weather this holiday stays safe! Surprised EA didn’t use the weather as an excuse the past couple days, haha. It may have been closer than some of the past hurricanes ;)

I’m wondering the same thing. I won’t be home until Wednesday morning so I’m hoping everything will be corrected by then. I had 3 of the player presents and I bought two of the present packs, so as long as I still have those presents, I’m good with whatever. I am super jealous seeing the folks that had their present numbers mixed up and got like 10+ XL’s. Doubt I’ll have that kinda luck lol

Yeah,  guaranteed my luck goes the other way, lol, which is exactly why I was asking and trying to avoid that eventual bad luck

The presents worked for me, but 33 present packs and only 1 95 rated player.  So, physically safe to open presents yes, mentally safe to open presents… NO.

Yeah, it should be fine now. Hopefully you have better luck with your present contents than many others did.

I was finally able to open mine this morning after having issues all day yesterday.

I opened them in the morning once I realized  what label correlated with what. Mine were fine then. No exaggeration here, but I mean even after QS like 150 presents to do the 90+ZC rerolls ,  I ended up with 168 presents to open...From those I pulled 2 95 LT's, a 95 Taysom, 2 94 Blitz Montez, 2 94 Blitz Steve Smith, 95 Calvin, 93  Merlin Olson, 95 TJ, 94 Vick, 94 Warner, 94 D Woodson, 93 Breece, 93 OJ Howard, plus a couple Carmichaels and Brady scramblers.

I don't know what happened after that...I read that some presents disappeared after EA fixed the  labels but have not seen that confirmed anywhere by EA or anything

Yeah, I’m mentally prepared for disappointment of that type, lol. What I’m not prepared for is if my 2x Carmichael cards disappear
