I work for EA? 😆 🤣. Eeveryone who has madden should be excited for season 2. It's all new content. It's new. Different. This game is supposed to be fun... right? Trust me.. I've complained alot about the new college game. That game has tanked!!! Badly!! But I still play.

I’m in this boat as well. I have 2 at 85, 2 at 84, and only 300 tickets left after completing everything. I’m not sure what I did wrong.

I am excited that we got some truly decent freebie cards in Season 1, the fully upgraded Hines Ward and Maxx Crosby are still on my squad to this day. That is a rare and beautiful thing, in past years the cards were all but unusable, so minor improvement (hate giving EA props for doing the bare minimum, we should expect that free cards are viable on most squads) -- however, will your guy Kirko Chainz be better than the JJ McCarthy that is already in-game? I guess that TOTW boost goes away shortly, regardless. Maybe. Did the Season of BOOM strategy card ever expire? EA regularly sets dates/times to end things, but then conveniently "forgets" or whatever.

Yeah I might switch over to a Vikings theme team as well. Right now I've got a Raiders theme team and have the Legends Randy Moss. Eventually think I will end up with a Vikings/Falcons team because Bijan Robinsons my favorite player and I really wanna try him in game. I've never used a Bijan Robinson card.

I'm just hoping to see my rookie premiere before season 3, everything else was fine in the s1 path. Easy to get enough xp.

Hines Ward & Maxx Crosby are both usable, above average cards, but the quality drops off significantly after that. I love the Vernon Davis "The Duke" TE, he's truly elite at TE on my 49ers theme team, but I already paid for this card last year.

Hard for me to rate anything about this low-effort, constantly recycled content as much beyond a blatant cash grab. Glad you're feeling that this was money well spent. We deserve SO much more for our $100 (if not significantly more) per year.

I’m a NMS player; and I have an 83 OVR team. my pack luck has been decent, like 85 Josh Allen and 85 Quincy Williams from the 80+ boom pack. I also have 700k coins, and the season pass gave me three 85’s (cmc, ward, and Crosby) that all fit on my packers TT. It was super easy to grind out; and for the most part H2H isnt bad just sweaty.

Everyone enjoys the game differently for different reasons. To comment specifically about S1 (Preseaon) for me personally, the content exceeded my expectations. As a Patriots fan and theme team guy I got far more content than I expected. That's the positive (at least for me).

Now, since EA can't help but but dish out plenty of bad to go with the good, the missing/delayed content for those that played CFB, the lack of any defense if the game, the failure to track solo battles score and probably any number of other things I'm not aware of are highly detrimental to the quality of the game.

There's no denying that you make very good points about the shortcomings of EA and they deserve all the bad "press" they get. However, like blind squirrels and broken clocks they do occasionally stumble upon good things.

I would also count as positives:

Solo Seasons (not the rewards, per se, but the concept/idea)

All Solo Battles opponents available immediately rather than just 4 every other day (or whatever it was previously)

Content (this can be subjective) all the Patriots notwithstanding, there seems to be a variety of ways to get viable cards, and generally enough to do to keep casual players engaged.

I will say, these positives are due mostly to my change in attitude towards Madden/MUT and gaming in general. I've cut back a bunch on playing time, objectives/goals and how I play. I made a conscious choice before purchasing Madden 25 that I would scale back. I essentially do daily objectives each day and try to complete recurring program objectives (AKA, TOTW, Legends, etc) as they come up. Other programs, unless there is something specific for my team needs then I ignore them.

I would rate my playing as casual-plus. In doing so, I probably avoid the worst of the issues other users have and I enjoy the game more by playing less than in previous years.

As I mentioned at the beginning, everyone can enjoy the game differently and often it's a matter perspective.

For the more hard-core/online players they have every right to be upset. Hopefully EA can get their act semi-together and square some things aways for those guys. They're really the ones responsible for making the game better for the casuals. The whales that spend endlessly, the competitors chasing the shiny new cards, the pack addicts - they flood the auction house making second tier cards more affordable for the casuals and make team building easier for them as well.

To sum it all up, there is both good and bad in this game and while it may seem the bad outshines the good, it really depends on point-of-view.
