Excuse my ignorance if that is, in fact, the case here... But I see a lot of people commenting (on Reddit) that they are making coins and upgrading their team, etc, by completing sets and then selling the completed set card for a profit. Are people really doing this? I can't really find any high end sets where it's profitable - especially after the 10% tax - to use this method. Please advise. Thanks !!
"For profit" really just means making your money back by selling the masters but they were like 150k for 5 cards but that was before the market hop up. Not sure what it would be now. Its just a way to get your coins back and upgrading your team unless youre sniping pieces to make the master.
There definitely are sets within the game that you can make profit. The thing is, there really isn’t one (right now) that will get you a lot of coin out of doing it a few times.
So I look at the GG master sets for the 91s... The 88s that go into the set are selling for ~150k. It takes 5 of them, which is ~700-750k for the set. Those 91 masters are selling for around 500k. How are people even breaking even? Makes no sense to me.
