Kos cuz they can bail your defense out played someone with shades and no kos and he couldn't stop me at all.

Ideally, you would have both of them. If you play zone, shades don't really matter and KOs are easily the way to go. This is just my experience with man but I found the shade abilities help my players be in position to make a play. The KOs are good in man I just find without shades I might be too out of position for it to even matter. Now this may be because I'm not making the correct adjustments. Consequently, I value shades more for man.

I second this. I run inside shade/OSA on all my corners and deep ko on my safeties. shades get my players in a position to make a play on the ball. I noticed when I only had knock outs on that Sometimes the corners got beat so bad the knockouts didn’t matter.
