Playing man coverage and pressed my DBs but shaded overtop and they still got burnt deep… another play, I shaded inside and their 10 yard in route completely torched my corner. Does shading even work or maybe I have no idea what the hell im doing?

if you know which receiver is going deep, put the corner in a deep third. That’s the best way to ensure your corner plays the bomb and good Chance of getting an int. Try it out in practice mode

also dont press and then shade up. They’ll get toasted because they won’t attempt a press animation and they’ll get ran by. down and out works for me on basically every route, but I don’t run man coverage these days except when I don’t think my opponent will expect it or I think they’re running a match beater
