Sideline Catches

How do you stop your receiver when he’s about to run out of bounds just before he catches the ball? I press B to make active and then use the stick to try and move him back. Sometimes I use possession catch. What is the right way?

there isn't really a right way, but there are preferences depending on what works best

I like to press A and RT on old gen Xbox

I honestly feel that your best chance to haul in sideline catches is to possession catch it with A (Xbox) or X (PS).

I use it probably 98% of attempts that close to out of bounds and very rarely will have my feet drag or land out for an incompletion.
