I tend to run smaller fast receivers at slot(e.g. Steve Smith Sr. Or Tyreek). Lately they've been getting picked off like crazy by taller defenders. Any suggestions on who I could POSSIBLY replace them with?

I'd probably recommend DK Metcalfs TOTW. It's the same speed as waddle, and only has a slight difference in route running and catching stats. But, he's 6'3 235 compared to 5'10 180.

What is your budget? Monk is nice and pretty cheap. Obviously somebody like Mike Will with Short In is gonna be insane in the slot.

I know. That SIE for 0AP is one of the reasons I picked up SSS. I figured his speed would make up for his height. Unfortunately, it hasn't panned out that way.

Im highly considering Mike Will at slot. Thinking of selling Steve Smith and making up the difference with what I have. Tyreek did well at slot but maybe defense AP discounts are used more since Most Feared.

Yeah I just meant theyre the only ones with discounts, otherwise youre paying for AP for it
These guys are over 6'2 may be better and meet RR Thresholds.

I was considering him as an outside receiver when he came out. Never thought about having him at slot. I'll have to look at that.

I want to pick up lazard but also waiting on new SS coming this week. Hes really cheap, 6'5 and meets everything

Try Hines ward, cheap, gets 2 ap slot-o-Matic, and blocks like a demon. He has been absolutely crazy for me. 50 rush yards a game and at least 200 reception yards. Try hi out and thank me later.

I would not do that. He's too good on the outside and he really does n ot have slot receiver qualities

Hines is too slow for the slot these days. I personally only keep him in my lineup as a backup for blocking purposes

In my humble opinion, take a very good, long look at that. I tried DK in the slot because he's too good to sit but I also have both Mikes (Williama and Evans - Williams is better BTW) and Megatron.
Although if MUT.gg is right, the new Andre Johnson card gets 1 AP SIE. Andre cards ALWAYS play well in Madden
