I have been seeing for years, people saying that sniping on the companion app is better than on the console. I have always had long loading screens in between clicking on the item and buying it. Wondering if their is some kind of strategy behind it?
How you filter makes a huge difference. It also depends on if you are going after commonly sniped stuff. FA sets are popular right now do trying to get a decent snipe on that may be tough, as an example.
Once you get familiar with filters it gets easier
Have found companion app to be either super fast as far as loading screens or super laggy. I’ll turn my phone‘s wifi off, quit the app and restart it using 5G/LTE and that usually fixes the lag
I find the app to be immeasurably faster.
Filtering is key! The more you filter the faster the loading screen.. especially with new drops.. on Thursday I was sniping 96 FA cards and I was filtering 96-97 overall.. FA program.. and doing individual positions… mostly sticking in SS, RE, and ROLB as they seems to be getting posted the most.. sometimes went to CB and WR but more players would show up making the loading screens longer..
This doesn’t really apply to old program as not many people are on those buying cards

The easiest snipes are always when new packs drop. People start ripping through them looking for a specific player and put all the others on auction for pennys on the dollar (Mut coin). But definitely choose a specific filter (94-95, position) get used to what the prices should be between both overalls, so when it loads you’ll know automatically if you should buy or not without hesitation
How do you get the app?
I have been using the app for about 3 years now, each year getting better at it. Like what others are saying, it mostly depends on the filters. The strategy I've been using this year has been sorting by price, and then sorting by OVRs. I would go through them, and if I found a auction that looked good, I would plan to be watching that auction when it was ending, and place a last second bid. (Or at 15 seconds place a bid cause at the end it jumps back up to 17 seconds after each bid) Or if I was busy, I would place a bid on it, get off, get back on 20 minutes later, place a couple bids, and then get back off.
