I took ultimate team players and put them into franchise mode. For example, I did gridiron guardians volume two leonard fournette. I looked at his overall at the end, and he came out to be a 99 overall. Why do you guys think the standard overall is lower for ultimate team?
Because overall means nothing
Because they can't sell new cards if everything is 99, so they slap a fake overall on the card. That's why you'll have 99s that have such disappointing stats.
The OVR calculations for Franchise and MUT have always been different. Stats are weighted differently in the two games.
OVR in MUT is for promotional, QS training, and line-up overall. some "99s" have most of their attributes in the mid 90s.

injury is an example of a stat that’s more important in franchise and literally doesn’t matter in MUT. There might be more, perhaps physicL stats matter more in MUT. im not mad at EA about it lol they make the players and we can see their stats
