So I've decided I dont have Lag...its one of two things

So after posting on the EA Answers forum for 6 weeks....going round and round with what EA calls "support"....

I've done everything they ask.

Things they asked me to do:

Typical reset modem, router 

Run a speed test

They mentioned gamemode on my tv.....was on. But I went and bought a new TV just to rule out any issues.

On my own...bought a new xbox

My internet was Hardwire  113mbps download, 10mbps upload, no packet loss, 42ms latency 

Well, I decided to try to upgrade my internet which really I didnt think was the issue...but I wanted to rule it out...

My internet is screaming now....

450-480mbps

18mbps upload

No packet loss

40ms latency

Yet, still, 90 to 95 percent of my matches I cant control my players well. They feel nerfed and stuck in mud. 

So this is one of two things causing this:

EAs DDA or EAs servers are garbage.

But, most of the time my players are slow. Slow to change direction, slow to react. My qb...if I am pressure and have to move....slow and ends up sacked.

So....the issues arent on my end. 

DDA or HORRIBLE SERVERS. 

Or both.

Many FIFA players are complaining....some madden players are.

I don't know how EA can have any tournaments that have big stakes with issues like this. Even a few times during the MCS they had to pause the game to "figure out the issue"

Who is "figuring out the issue" and why cant theh figure out mine??? What are they actually "figuring" out?

Horrible servers. 
 

I’m experiencing slow/laggy menu navigation since I started playing this game in ‘19. And I’m on next gen, nothing changes. 
 

Has to be on their end. 

Even though I’m playing from Italy it’s just unacceptable, you can’t say there aren’t servers near me, we’re in 2022 for the love of god.
 

I remember at the start of the year someone on Reddit posted a screenshot of the main menu of Madden, and there was clearly on the background the old M21 menu overlaying the new one. If I find it again I’ll post it. It was hilarious, they’re basically recycling everything lol it’s obvious some players are experiencing this kind of issues…

Servers

So...why arent any of the streamers experiencing lag?

I watch them and they seems to have a great connection most of the time. The menus are always laggy for everyone. They get better when the servers arent as busy (late at night). The gameplay also gets better for me for maybe two games, to the point I can actually play it online and feel good about it.

Yet, i ask other players if they have lag....? Some say yes, most say no. However, I wonder how many actually have played the game unconnected to the internet and actually know the difference.

For me, 80 to 90 percent of my games are laggy. To the point I cant move my qb....

Yet others are running around with escape artist. 

If EA can fix MCS connections during a live broadtcast....

Wonder why they cant fix mine?

It does make me think these streamers have priority  of some sort as EA cant have these streamers promoting their game and its terrible. EA themselves said they were going (and currently are doing so) use streamers as a way to promote their titles. 

Clearly EA is capable of looking into connectivity issues. As i said, what are they doing when they paise MCS games for connectivity?

I've hear skimbo say he was lagging maybe once on stream. I know Henry stated he had issues before he moved to Texas...(stated that in an interview aired before the MCS finals)....

But nothing remotely like I experience. I can only play a decent game between the hours of 1am to 5am EST. Which I am guessing is a downtime for the EA servers seeming as most arent playing at these times.

Take in mind...I won 13 games in WL with bad lag. Also, 1 of my games was a desync loss.  My descync was against a streamer as well. I am not the best Madden player out there, but certainly not terrible. I feel I can get into the top 100 for sure. I beat someone that finished in the top 30 this week. But....with this lag I an unable to do so..

Really this is the only game I play. Love football. EA has really let me down. 

No other football games to play.
