Don’t get 2x chems but heros do? I picked up a couple of them thinking I could use my tokens to get 2x chems. Guess what they don’t, all the token does is unlock the other teams in the division. Should unlock a second box like on the heros that can be any chem in the division. More screwed up prgramming by EA……..Don’t waste your coins if you‘re looking for double team chems for your tt.

It is a head-scratcher for sure.
I guess I changed the way I look at it, though- with the cap on team chems at 20 to get the +1 speed I feel like the double team chems really isn't important. Convenient, sure. But not necessary anymore. If I like the card I will grab it, if I need it for a depth peice to hit the 20 TT, OK.
But my point is more that I don't think you need to rely on their extra team chem anymore.

In just six weeks or so, these Team Builders champions will be depth, or left completely out of lineups among the top-tier users. At least a handful of the heroes will make the lineups of all team just because of the double chems. We might even see three-team 20/20 hybrids by November.

I could get very close to a 20/20/20 team right now if my Asante and Laporte got 2x chems. Currently at 20 Pats/20 Chargers/15 Lions. I’d have to buy the deal with 2 extra tokens, but not even worth it at this point as I have no more 82s I want and the tokens are useless if the Champs don’t get 2x chems. I can almost guarantee it’s another f-up by the development team, as it makes no sense whatsoever that the Champs don’t get a second bucket with the divisional chems so you could put 2x the primary based on how the hero’s work.
