So the BND SB Champs went into cards. Will the Genki BND Champs also go into cards?

Really curious to see if this will work like the Super Bowl cards did. Not sure I'm gonna get enough stars to hit the auctionable champ, but I SHOULD get enough for the BND lol.

It works - I confirmed on Jamaal Williams, using the 700 star 96 BND Metcalf I bought in the store.

WHOA, nice.  Thanks for this pro-tip.  Perhaps it'll give me a reason to continue attempting to suffer through ~50 wins on new Tug of War House Rules.  Having one play prayers is a bit ridiculous, i preferred the short full games from the Superbowl Run game mode.  Ahh well.  Too bad they never managed to fix or patch the kick-off glitch, go figure, eh?  EA didn't put in any dev effort or resources testing, let alone resolving glaring issues.

It's extremely hard to win in a game with 2 minute quarters when your opponent gets the ball to start the game AND at half, oof.  But the coins were nice and made it seem almost worth the effort.

I guess I’m in the minority as I don’t mind the house rules. I’m gonna put some work in now so I can get that BND from the star store. Hopefully no Packer drops in the 2nd part so I can just worry about Jamaal lol.

I got 15 wins and acquired my first upgrade token for Genki Force, giving me the much desired 0AP Secure Protector on Rob Havenstein.  Not sure i want or need anything else from this promo at the moment.

However, i'll be looking forward to your story whenever you get a chance to hammer it out from a proper keyboard.  I can't type much on these forums from mobile, myself... perhaps i'm a bit of a Boomer in that regard.  Or simply spoiled from having the luxury of full ~104 keys at my disposal.  You played the Superbowl Run (for coins) or the new Tug of War?  Not sure which i'll do, i honestly prefer earning the coins, but guess i should at least go see if i can muster the effort for full fifty Tug of War wins.  I want to play real fatball, uggh.

The Super Bowl one. I played one game to see if it counted towards the H2H/Solo Battles wins. It did not.

So yeah, I kick off. Dude comes out in Bunch (go figure) and goes right down the field and scores. 7-0. I'm a big runner, and had a 3-and-out and I punted (yeah, I'm one of them guys that still punts lol). Dude goes right down and scores again. Still Bunch. Shanks the XP. 13-0 with under a minute left in the half. Last play of the first half I run a toss play, and take it 60+ to the crib. Dude gets on the mic talking shit like all I do is run and can't throw, probably figuring cause he gets the ball back. I told him he sucks for giving up a long run on the last play of the half lol.

2nd half I kick again. Now however, I get his offense down. He gets one first down but that's it. He throws a bomb on 4th and me being an idiot picked it off. I get a couple first downs but stall. Punt again (you might be calling me an idiot at this point, but alas...). He switched from Bunch to Trips TE. You can tell when someone only runs one formation, cause he was lost lol. I had him bagged, and this time he actually did punt, as there's less than a minute left. Still 13-7, and I had to go 80+. Keep in mind he's chirping the entire time about how I couldn't throw. First play I get a nice chunk. 2nd and 3rd nothing. 3rd I get another chunk to midfield. Incomplete, incomplete, incomplete. 4th down from midfield, around 20 seconds left. Dude chirping. Came out and ran PA Double Post out of Wing Tight (3TE) of all formations. He kept playing two high and this ate it up. Safety got sucked in by the first post (I think it was Musgrave) and Doubs on the outside beat his man. End zone. TD. Crickets on the mic lmao.

I kick. Incomplete. Hail Mary interception. All dude said was 'I thought I had the knockout'. I don't even know if he had one on, but it didn't light up. So yeah, that's my story. Even with 2 minute quarters, kicking off both halves, punting twice and going down two scores winning is possible kids.

Man after my own heart, although I haven't been punting much (or any) between Superbowl Run 2m quarters ZOOM and new Genki Clash House Rules obviously doesn't have any kicking.

Yeah, my 10 year old thinks I'm nuts trying to tell him to punt all the time when it's 4th and long deep in his own territory. I want to play simulation fatball, unfortunately it's mostly turned into a cheese fest, filled with one-play pussy chumps.

Love hearing the gameplay recaps, what you into lately? Any Tug of War? I'm currently 24/50 Genki Clash, but it's tedious for me. I love the strategy aspects, learning your opponent's tendencies and adjusting to them. I'll throw regularly throw a couple careless picks to start games, then have to dig out of 14-0 hole. Hilarious your guy missed a PAT. Keep up the good work, fighting the good fight. And punting in situational football. Bravo. 🏆
