Am I crazy, or do the CPU teams in Solo Battles play way above their rating right after each Season/equivalent gets released? I fleeced an 88 team, and then got held up a bit by a 79 team mere hours apart, between updates. I think it's happened to me with each release...like they say "79 overall", but have made the players' ratings actually close to the top of the new release so that it makes us feel like we need to upgrade our team ASAP to survive (therefore, obviously more $$$ for them)
I didnt notice it.
Yeah I was thinking that a bit after the update, I haven’t read the notes but assumed they tuned the CPU gameplay a bit.
I saw this is previous Maddens as well, where 80 overall cornerbacks were keeping up with my 97 speed receivers. I think it's an incentive to spend coins on upgrading your team regardless of whether you play H2H or not.
Yes the sliders are maxed out for solo battles
I think they've become easier, but that's probably because my team has gotten a lot better

Yeah, exactly. Especially noticeable cause I had just played another solo battle prior to update and “new opponents”. Ran similar plays, routes, etc. but this time the CB’s seemed to know my route better than my receivers did and got a bunch of interceptions. So annoying, especially cause I’m trying to sell way more than buy while the market is so hot
Some of the SB teams have 20+ AP active lol check the rosters

For real?! Why the hell isn't it the same parameters? I've never actually looked at the rosters in solo battles. Man, EA barely tries to hide that it just keeps setting you up over and over to spend.
