So this is my first time that my solos vanished while working on them, had one left. Will they come back on reset tomorrow or am I just out of luck?

Did you get the infamous Madden Gnomes for 100 coins? Same thing happened to me last night.
If that's the case, not saying it's right, but you might also be done with Solo Battles for the week thanks to EA's latest mess up.

To be honest, I don't think that there is anything that can be done to avoid it if EA goes all EA as usual.
People are saying on Reddit that you should avoid playing the Featured Opponent straight away, and leave that game until last. But there is also evidence out there to suggest that doing so makes no difference.
So, as always, if EA chooses to mess up, we all have to deal with the consequences of their shoddiness.
