Except whoever is doing this knows what is up, they'll gladly take a ban at 3AM which will give them more than enough time to shuffle assets around between accounts, probably for actual cash. They're not going to suffer, it's only the regular folks that get caught up in this nonsense.
Bullshit policy by EA. But there's been cash markets for video game virtual items for as long as I can remember... meaning late 90s for me. eBay was filled with EverQuest and Ultima Online MMORPG items before both companies tried to outlaw similar behavior.
