Figured it was finally time for a QB upgrade. I limited myself to only ltd QBs since they don't depreciate in value as much as normal cards.
Found Joe Flacco on the auction house for about 405k and heard everything about how great Slinger 1 is, so I decided to try him out. Tried him with two different ability combinations: HRM, PLE, and Fearless, and then my usual favorite combo GS, PLE, and Fearless. He kinda sucked with both combos. The GS helped a bit with the deep release, and I had no problem with the speed at which he got the ball out, the problem was his accuracy. All the same throws that Randall Cunningham would have easily made he missed, he underthrew to the point that I had to agg catch everything. Keep in mind, this was in solo challenges, so a card of that high overall should have absolutely torched the defense. If it had not been for Julian Edelman and Travis Kelce, he would have been picked off a few times by CPU too.
Sold him, reluctantly decided that I would have to spend some more coins, and picked up 97 Jalen Hurts. Did the same combo: GS, PLE, and Fearless. He played great, in the exact same solo challenges that Flacco stunk up. I genuinely don't understand why Slinger 1 is rated higher than Generic 3. Maybe something about my playstyle? Although I don't roll out unless absolutely necessary. I'm a pocket passer, which meant Slinger 1 should have been good on my team.
