OK here's the scenario, you have to choose between either 3 under 6'0" receivers with high speed rating or have 3 6'5"+ receivers with low speed rating? In other Maddens, this is easy, speed all day, but in Madden 23 I would have to choose height, the high ball meta and having so many short DB's just brings me too this side.
Speed vs Height
high ball meta, definitely tall recievers

I feel like if they nerfed the high ball, which is pretty much impossible w/o removing free form passing, it would be like prior maddens where Tyreek Hill's on every endgame team.
i agree, i honestly wish tall and short receivers were more balanced. i do like that short receivers arent broken like in previous maddens
The meta for MUT is Agg City offenses. You want the big guy.
wish we had more had taller corners to balance out the tall receivers
Random question, but when highballing are you supposed to use free form LT as well?
I don't currently as it just feels weird, but I might be missing out here.

Me too I want a sherman to come out in the legends program soon. Not a fan of him or the seahwawks, we just need the tall corners.
Unfortunately high pointing rules madden, if u take a theme team with tall receivers, they would be fast and talk. Harold carmichael is 6’8 and still 90 speed. Probaly one of the best receivers in the game

Yeah I would say he's the best wr in the game and it's not even close. The meta has changed so much this year from the prior years.

Facts, it’s always been about speed. Last year with pa boot over speed was crucial. Glad the Mets changes tho, gives it a new feel

That is true, you don't see a lot of bunch anymore because people would rather go tall then small but quick. Like it though, I am a complete pats tt with playbooks and all and I love that now U Trips, (Y off pats trips), is now meta this year, with people like civil running it in pro tourneys, which is awesome to see as a pats fan.

It’s really just gun tight and bunch This year, no bunch te
