I used Marino all weekend long w Set Feet Lead, I liked him but I wanted a Slinger 1 release QB w more mobility.
Steve McNair has baked-in "Gunslinger" so I figuered his release was gunna feel like a laser....WRONG! feels like Generic 3, with pressure in his face his release feels even slower like a Traditional 1 release.
I guess I'll have to wait for Derrick Henry GT, he's going to be like 1.3 mill when he drops.
Have you tried fearless? It works extremely well on my Cam Newton

I actually tried Mcnair when he came out and I agree that his release didn’t feel that great. Also I think Traditional 1 and Generic 3 are so close that one really isn’t better than the other. All about preference as each QB has a bit of their own differences in release.

It says his release is Slinger 1 though. Do you really think they changed it without anyone knowing?
McNair has been my favorite QB so far, although I powered him up and don't use Gunslinger at all: not sure if that would make any difference. I just have Fearless and Hot Route Master on him.
I had previously been using Joe Namath who seemed to miss a lot of passes, even though his accuracy ratings are pretty high. Not sure if you've tried him or not, but he's pretty cheap, fast, and has Slinger 1.

No I’m definitely not trying to say EA changed his release. Just stating that from my own gameplay his release honestly didn’t feel better than the QB I was using at the time (NTL QB, Traditional 1). Granted I throw on the run a lot because I’m always being chased out of the pocket and I personally think that each QB’s release on the run can be different, why I don’t know, it just seems that way from my own gameplay. Also I used XMas Derrick Henry QB for a while and Mcnair’s release didn’t seem as quick to me.
ea probably nerfed him.
