Just played a guy who spammed the same play 75% of the time against me in Champs. Basically lined up in the gun with 2 WR’s left and a TE and WR to the right. He would snap the ball and instantly throw almost a bubble screen to either the TE in the slot, or the WR in the slot on the other side. His outside WR’s would basically set up a pick play and start blocking. No matter what I ran (man, cover 2 press, cover 3, various blitzes, etc) I couldn’t stop this play and it was 8-9+ yards every time. Is this just a glitch play? Anyone know the best way to stop it!? I’ve seen it before but never played someone who ran it constantly, whether they were at midfield or at the goal line.

Tried that. I would user one of my slot corners and he’d just throw to the opposite side.
I would try to user one side and set your DE to a flat on the other side and shade inside.
I've run into the same thing, with people using this play to convert third and fourth downs every time. Thankfully I haven't run into anyone who constantly spammed the play. I haven't found anything that works. I tried running Tampa 2, pressing man coverage, putting a bunch of hard flats, nothing worked.
Man them up and put man K.O's on your 3rd and 4th corner

I ran man in dime even. Both my slot corners have flat zone ko and pick artist.

Flat Zone won't work if you run man. That's a zone ko. Need short/medium route ko.

I don’t run a lot of man normally. I’m saying I even tried switching to man and usering one of the slot corners. no defense would stop it.
