Tariq Woolen Harvest LTD

Woolen has been the best CB I've used all year by far, and I've tried a bunch (including Tillman and now Deion).

I run strictly zone and have him equipped w/ pick artist (like every DB I use).  He by FAR gets the best animations on 50/50 balls and jumps so many routes its unreal.  I had him @ CB2 because of having Deion, and he played so well I went ahead and swapped them, and he's just as amazing @ CB1.

It's odd, I thought his comp card was pretty bad.  I had such high hopes for the comp version, and it just played horribly for me.  I scooped the TG LTD in plans to flip it in a few weeks, but after trying it, he has a spot on the roster for awhile.

Have had him since he was released, and he's straight up insane with Pick Artist.  I run a 50/50 Bills team, and he makes more plays at CB1 than Deion or Gilmore who both get all the theme team boosts.  Guys with comparable stats may come out, but his height is something that can't really be topped.  Worth the coins to me, and he should hold his value well.

Thanks for the feedback Lachry! It sounds like we have a similar defensive style. I only run zone and use Pick Artist on my DB’s. Woolen is definitely playing much better for me at CB2 but that could just be a coincidence. I saw a couple of those amazing Spec Catch animations this morning and he’s played well in run support too. 
I originally bought him hoping he’d be great or just go up in price so much that I had to take the profits. If he keeps playing this well at CB2 I will be keeping him for a while though.

I agree the height is hard to pass up with so many tall receivers in the game. I’m going to keep him on the team for a while at least.

Yeah maybe I move Ramsey when I get Deion then.

This is exactly what I did.  Just immediately sold Ramsey when I got Deion.

Hopefully they keep the redux drops coming in quick like they did with the last drop. 
It was hard for me to pull the trigger on him last week because it was my whole coin stack. Still wanting to do a master set for Harvest but I’m waiting to see who we get for Part 2.

It really surprised me when I saw redux drops so soon after the last one.  That was really good to see.  I had kind of similar-ish dilema with Bobby Bell this past weekend.  He's one of my all-time favorite players but I wasn't sure if he was worth getting.  But I thought about how it was basically only a 50k card because I can quicksell him if a better LOLB comes out during Blitz or a future promo.

I don't blame you. I'm the same way because I'm REALLY hoping for Mahomes or Sean Taylor, lol.

Yeah I think that’s the move because Woolen should hold his value through blitz being an LTD, and I got the free diggs who’s basically the same as Ramsey to play in the slot. So either Ramsey or diggs wouldn’t start anyway.

I too was surprised when they dropped those Redux cards last week but I hope that continues!  
 
How are liking Bobby Bell so far? I got him yesterday morning and put him at SubLb. So far I’ve been very happy with him. Quite a few user INT’s as well as some CPU INT’s and really good in run support. 

I too would love a Sean Taylor card!

That's the thing.....I think Haynes has played better for me than Woolen....and I love Aeneas in the slot......no way I am going to keep a 900K coin card as my #4 or 5 CB so I may try him in the slot but likely will sell now that I have  Deion.

I think with your setup it probably makes the most sense to sell him. I still want to try Haynes when I get my coin stack built back up. I feel like Haynes has been the best corner I’ve played against in the last week or so. He has made some crazy plays against me that I haven’t seen from another CB this year.

I have him up top playin FS with 1 AP Midzone Ko, haven't really tried him at CB, that height n speed with Midzone KO was too good to pass up at FS.
