TD Triple Theme Team 94 OVR

So yesterday was awful for MUT. I logged on for the first time in weeks and it was one for the ages. Despite all that I was uniquely positioned to build a god squad with the 95s because of my abnormally sexy coin stack. I know most people aren’t in my position and the way EA did TD absolutely shit on most of the community. Just trying to share something I figured you guys could enjoy.

I have 23 of the 95s on my triple theme team of Eagles/Falcons/Ravens. Team is at 94 ovr. I’ll link my roster with the binder leaderboard after they finish maintenance. Buying all those cards and creating the theme team cost me about 108 million coins. I expect to lose coins because of the timing of TD and I expect EA will do something at a certain point in the future to tank the values of them but oh well it’s fun. Any guesses as to how much my binder value vs coin stack will be?

I’m going to start playing h2h later today and see if it’s actually game breaking. Although technically it’s already broken but that’s beside the point. Hopefully I’ll match up with some of you. To make it a little more fair I’m using a playbook I don’t know very well and just trying to have fun.

geez, have fun man.  I thought I had a decent coin stack at 30m and I still couldnt bring myself to buy one of the overpriced TD’s.  Good luck matching with anyone most would prob quit once they see your top 3

It’s not pride. It’s excitement. I found a way to have fun on MUT despite all the horrible stuff that went on yesterday and I wanted to share that. You are always a cynical one but even that helps. So thanks

game is terrible coverage is like last year absoulte trash

Just curious, and not in a negative way, how did you get over 100 mil coins? Other than the obvious of spending quite a bit cash. You can spend your money how you like. You can't work the auction house much this year though, even if you can its for a minimal gain. Any technique other than just playing the game, buying bundles, and getting lucky? If you lucked out and pulled every LTD, every promo, since the game came out, you still couldn't sell all of them at their highest point to reach that amount of coin.

I actually wish your god squad would dominate. But the RNG/DDA is gonna nerf that advantage vs lesser competition

Good for you OP...  I think a lot of players forgot the entire purpose of this silly hobby of ours is to have fun.   Good luck with your god squad bruh.

Enjoy, my man.  I came into Team Diamonds with 12.75M coins and a 90 OVR team.  I wasn't on the game when the Sets were glitched, but I did manage to pick up a cheap 95 for 2.9M coins after EA announced the swap Set.  I run a Commanders/Steelers theme team and swapped in DeSean Jackson at 96 Speed and 97 Acceleration.  I also added the 92 Ryan Clark, who at 93 Speed at deep FS is fast enough against just about anyone.  I figure teams will have to go crazy trying to cover D-Jax and Clark can hold down his end of things in C4 or backed off C3.

I am saddened by the explicit money grab of Team Diamonds.  It would've been a GREAT promo if they just didn't release the pack-only 95s.  If it was all 92s plus the 95 Eli and 95 Peppers, no one would've had a problem with it.

I hope they DDA the hell out of anyone that had a chance to take advantage of the set glitch without getting kicked out. And those that just throw thousands into this game. 

This dude on here flexing his coin stack and god squad is a big part of the problem.  People like him are the reason EA will continue to push out poor product and tell the community to  be happy we are providing content.  Why would a company get better when you have whales feeding the slot machine daily?
