I get Leon Sandcastle. Terry Tate was pushing it but Lester Speight played football in college and ran a 4.3... he was a physical specimen
But Rich Eisen?
I understand doing things for fun, it's still a game... but stuff like this shows me that EA doesn't care about the integrity of the game
I feel like this is disrespectful to the memory of Coach Madden
As someone who has watched the NFL combine for years, I personally like the Rick Eisen card. I will score the touchdowns with him to get the upgrade and then he will never see the field again.
I would claim that giving fictious anime characters cards would be much more upsetting to John Madden than seeing Rich Eisen.

Totally agree with this take. The anime cards are way worse.
Respectfully disagree with OP. I don't think you can have Sim/MUT in the same conversation. I think it's a good addition and his thing is for a good cause every year so I can't say anything bad about it. Wish they'd do more like this and stop with promos like GF lol.

I don’t expect to see Goku on Sundays. Football is done for the year. None of the fictional players from Genki Force will be on the most highly competitive rosters in just a few more weeks. I don’t know why people hated the anime program so much. I thought it was creative.
No one should be hating Rich Eisen in February, but if they have to complain, well….

Sadly this is true. But they've always billed it as one.
The anime cards were ridiculous too. For the handful of people above that like the Rich Eisen card, good for them. That was just my take on the card. I have no problem with people voicing a contradictory opinion.

Yea i get it. I laughed when i saw the Eisen card because at this point, i have no faith that EA will ever fix this game so you just gotta laugh. It's very disappointing

At this point, I am counting the days until MLB The Show drops anyway...but I will stick with Madden until then....really hoping someone else makes a competing Football game soon

Thinking a lower OVR bit piece related to children's cancer fundraising ruins the integrity of the game and tarnishes the memory of coach madden will always and forever be a trash take, stay insecure though.

Spot on.
Rich Eisen is probably one of the first things I think of when someone mentions the combine. I have no problem with EA making that part of the game.
Personally, I think he's more deserving of a card than Terry Tate.
