i know about the left punter counter, but it seems a bit crazy they havent fixed such a silly glitch

True, but madden 23 is also the third year of next gen madden.

They also have had a glitch on current gen since madden 20 where sometimes you equip an ability in franchise mode and it just freezes the game.

I remember that. Trying to equip an ability or edit the player out of the upgrade players screen always froze the game.

Yep. Just started my first franchise of madden 23 this weekend and I tried to equip an ability and i was greeted by this glitch.

In EA’s mind, the sooner everyone moves to current gen, the sooner they can save resources by pulling support for old. I think they left it in 23 as a deterrent.
