I really didn't want to buy it and spend all my points on it but it's really the best route to go. I mean if you sell your best players starting out then you wont have a good team and its a pain dealing with solos and h2h with a bad team. Also the 100k is the difference maker and 150 training from each player you don't need is very useful starting out. Combined with the RP players and other pre-order bonuses and you will start out with a very solid team. I picked run n gun and man to man as my elite team bundles. An 85 and 86ovr cbs to start out with are nice. On offense both chase and Pitts are great and your o-line will do be at least 80+ each which is nice.
I'm thinking of that too. The man to man for sure and then maybe west coast.
Cool that worked out for you, but classic team building (and a couple of good pulls) has seen me build an 80 OVR team in very little time, and I'm far from done.
I went this route too (Run N Gun and Pass Rush as I already had 85+ CBs). It makes the solos a lot easier and I will just sell most of what I pull. I see them as the replacement for the gold team packs and they are much better because you can actually get good players (Figure EA won’t keep doing it if no one spends the points of this pack).
I never buy points anyways so I wouldn’t use them later.
I did this also. I can leverage the 100k coins on the AH and generate way more coins.
Yeah if you arent good at solos its an easy way to sort of get a head start. I barely played so far like maybe 2 hours total and have a 78 team that does fine.
Id rather keep my points and just buy the cheap options to get newer players through the year on promos.
