I feel like the game is so stale right now.. these promos aren’t exciting.. packs aren’t exciting.. abilities running the game is so lame because every person is just running the same team and same players. There is no real incentive to really play the game in H2H or champions..
I don’t know what they need to do but if they keep going the way they are going idk who will be playing this game after the Super Bowl!
I agree. I am playing just to get Gronk. I was really hoping for TVP to spice things up for a bit.
New year same old lazy EA shenanigans. Constantly Botched promos(worste christmas promo ive ever seen), giving the same recycled players constant +2 overalls while overlooking 100's of players in need of upgrades, giving makerights to people who didnt deserve them, giving players abilities that don't make sense for their playstyle, the list goes on and on. Just pure lazyness.

If you go back in the archives there’s this post for every year madden In at least the past 8 years. The year goes up and the game gets worse. It’s an EA thing. I think they need to stop adding stuff that doesn’t matter and really focus on making a complete game. But they won’t and everyone falls for it every year including myself
I think it's just the natural shelf life of sports games. It doesn't matter what game it is – Madden, NBA2K, FIFA, MLB The Show, F1...after awhile they all tend to get a little boring. Even as a first-year MUT player, I agree with the "staleness" comments. The promos are lackluster at best and the challenges that accompany them are starting to feel very repetitive/rinse & repeat. I feel like I've built my team about as much as I care to and it's like, now what? I want to complete Season 3, but beyond that I'm not sure how many more hours I'm going to sink into MUT. After the Super Bowl, my son really wants to start Hogwarts Legacy and that is going to consume most of our gaming time.
It's natural for sports games, or any game for that matter, to lose their appeal over time. After playing for a while, the excitement and novelty start to wear off, and the repetitive nature of the challenges can make it feel like you're just going through the motions. It's like you've reached a point where you've built your team to a level you're satisfied with, and there's not much more to strive for.
I can imagine that exploring a new game like Hogwarts Legacy with your son would be a refreshing change of pace. It's always great to have something new and exciting to look forward to, especially when it comes to gaming. Starting a fresh adventure can reignite the spark and provide a whole new level of enjoyment.
