BTW I love these guys saying they played against Elway or some other card like a HB or something, saying the card isn't good......like the card is in control and not the player. Because people who go into H2h let the CPU control heir QB right? You can have a QB with ALL 99s , the best traits and abilities, unlimited AP, and still suck with the card. It's the PLAYER not the CARD (excuse me, EA, not card - "Player item"). You can't judge a card until you've seen it in the hands of someone who knows how to use it properly.

I think people say this just to feel better about themselves for not having the card . There’s no way anyone can say with a straight face that the elway card is not good.

I agree completely with this. Until I play with a card, I just judge by my knowledge of the game and how they compare versus someone I have played with.

Like I said, a good card will elevate a bad player but a good player will elevate bad cards. Of course, dice rolls and shit but if you have a god squad and dont know how to cover, then youre gonna get tore up by golds/low elites. Yeah the cards will bail you out here and there but mostly youll get abused. And even if its the best card ever and you dont play with how its used, its going to be a bad card to you... which for a QB, I mean... theres no way its a bad card since rollouts and running are dead this year.

Play someone that knows how to use him. Have rattled off 7 in a row and 9 of 10 since using him in H2h seasons. My one loss was on a DC and I was up 7-0. I'm an ok player but I usually win like 70-75% of the time.

I honestly think people say this type of stuff to make themselves feel better that they don’t have the card.

If you want to spend less coins to "get the job done" that's on you. If you think using Elway means you can't make reads, that's one of the dumbest things I've read. Since when does using the best players mean you can't make reads? Did I write anywhere that you need to have Elway to win or to have fun playing the game? I don't think so.

I may not have the reflexes I once did now that I'm in my 50's....and I don't study YouTube cheese or e books foe glitches and money plays but as far as football knowledge, reading a defense, adjusting....I'm all good in that department.

Honestly what's the point of a post like yours? Do you feel u need to take shots at those of us who have cards like Elway? You think you're better because you don't "have to" use Elway? I don't either. My latest Super Bowl run was made with Bledsoe and won with Culpepper. Really man, why so salty???

Feeling a bit thin skinned today I see. Gross overreaction to my post, it's just my opinion.

Most of the people can't drop thousands on MUT to stay with a God Squad all year as you appear to be able to, and most of the bans also appear to be hitting people that built Elway the hard way. Simply saying unless you're rolling in dough and can throw thousands of dollars at MUT, you have to manage your coin stack carefully over the year, and you simply don't need a 96 QB to win. Keep in mind that 96 card will end up on the AH or QS all too soon when 97's and higher drop.
